Blush dominated the runways during Fall/Winter 2014 fashion week, and it’s one of the top fashion trends to continue into 2015.
“Blush” is used to describe a shade of pink that varies between a very pale pink and a nude pink. While it can be considered a neutral because it veers on the light and nude side of the spectrum, it adds more colour than cream or white. The slight pop of pink also warms up other neutral tones – blush pairs especially well with black, white, camel and grey, making it a great base in your wardrobe. Because it’s such a soft shade, it adds a touch of girly style without making you look like Barbie.
Here are a few key blush pieces to spark your inspiration. Investing in a blush item or two will carry you into spring and summer as well; this delicate shade is just right for sunny and warm weather.
