Anyone who’s been to the movies recently can see that comic-book franchises have completely taken over Hollywood. The primary place for the scoop on these comic-book flicks? Comic-Con, of course.
Each summer, the stars of these comic-book adaptations gather at San Diego’s Comic-Con convention to talk about their superhero roles and give fans a sneak peek of what to expect in upcoming instalments of their franchises. Accordingly, Comic-Con also provides an opportunity for stars to show off their sense of style at the panels. Here’ s a roundup of the best looks from famous faces at this year’s Comic-Con:
The always-entertaining J-Law stuns in a casual Louis Vuitton maxi dress with sleek cut-outs. Superstar Jen is at the convention to promote not one, but two film franchises: X-Men Apocalypse and the final instalment of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2.
Also sporting cut-outs is Lea Michele, who pairs a Jonathan Simkhai crop top with an A-line skirt and colourful sandals. The former Glee star was at the convention to promote her new upcoming TV series Scream Queens.
Also promoting Scream Queens is Emma Roberts, wearing an off-the-shoulder dress by Line & Dot.
Kata Mara opts for an embellished Valentino dress to promote her role in Fantastic Four.
Israeli actress Gal Gadot, sporting unique circular cutouts, will play Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice film.
Jessica Chastain is never one to disappoint on a red carpet, and Comic-Con is no exception. Here she wears a lace asymmetrical Preen dress to discuss Crimson Peak.
Natalie Dormer also opts for a lace look at the Patient Zero panel.
